Mueller State Park

Last weekend, we escaped on Sunday afternoon for a drive up into the mountains to enjoy the changing fall colors. We are so glad we went when we did since we've had record breaking lows this weekend! Mueller State Park was a beautiful park full of hiking trails and gorgeous Aspens. There was even a special trail just for kids! As you can see below, I had a lot of fun taking pictures!

Grandpa's Visit

My dad was in the Springs last weekend presenting at a medical meeting at the Broadmoor hotel. He flew in a day early so that he could spend some time with the grandkids. We spent the day at the aquarium on Friday. Chloe has been really into sharks lately so she had a blast watching them swim around in the tank.

Yes, that is a tiger you see at the aquarium. Random, I know!

Even though it was a quick weekend, we were thankful for the time we got to hang out with my dad. It's really hard living so far from both sets of grandparents, so every second we have with them is always a treat!

Macie's First Word

Here's a little clip that I finally captured of Macie chanting "ma-ma". She started saying this around 7 1/2 months old, but she now prefers to say "da-da". Oh well, at least she said "ma-ma" first!

Church Picnic

A few weeks ago, we had our 3rd Annual Red Rock Church picnic. It was our 2nd time attending. We absolutely love our church and are so thankful that God orchestrated events in our lives to allow us to end up there.
