A Visit from the Cousins

Chloe's Auntie Lindsay and her 3 cousins came to visit for a few days. Fortunately, the weather was pretty decent (for CO in spring anyway!), so the kids had fun at the zoo and the park. Chloe loved being able to see her cousins again. She wishes they didn't live so far away!

Our Special Anniversary Gift

This past Sunday marked our fifth wedding anniversary! It's hard to believe it's been that long already! What a blessing it has been to experience the joy of marriage these last five years! God has been so faithful to us!

We enjoyed being a part of Andrew's sister, Emilie's wedding this last weekend! It was so special to see how Emilie and David's love for the Lord was evidently expressed through their wedding ceremony. Congratulations, Emilie and David! We love you!

First Mother's Day

Yesterday marked my first official Mother's Day. I'm forever thankful to the Lord for allowing me to experience the joy of being a mommy. Having a child has definitely changed my life! Now that I have begun to understand what motherhood is all about, I have a much greater appreciation for everything my mom has done for me over the years!

Chloe just discovered that she can clap her hands. It's so funny. She'll be crawling around then randomly pause, sit up, and clap her hands. It's like she all of a sudden realizes how proud of herself she is! I would like to know what's going through her mind in those moments! Anyway, whenever I say "Yay, Chloe" that's her cue to clap. It's pretty darn cute!
